Bio

Research & Teaching Interests and Expertise

She teaches a Program Planning and Evaluation course for MPH students. She also teaches a 9-month class associated with the Master of Public Health students' practicums. She also enjoys teaching Introduction to Public Health for over 125 upper-division undergraduate students. This course provides a broad overview of essential public health concepts, approaches, programs and theory.
In July 2020, she led a mixed methods action study to explore volunteer management practices at food distribution agencies in Sacramento County, like food pantries and food closets.
