University of California, Davis, scientists are teaming up with UC Berkeley and UC San Francisco researchers on a $70-million donor-funded initiative that aims in part to cut climate change-causing emissions from cattle by using the genome-editing tool CRISPR on microbes in the cows’ gut.

Two Elected to National Academy of Engineering

Public Scholarship Faculty Fellows Program: Call for Applications

Applications are now being accepted for this faculty development program, set to run in fall quarter 2020 through winter quarter 2021, which aims to support individuals working on academic publications by organizing a public scholarship peer group, facilitating structured time for advancing a peer-review manuscript or academic book chapter, coordinating internal peer group feedback, and identifying dissemination outlets.
