Call for Fellows

Imagining America (IA) invites graduate students with an interest in public scholarship or artistic practice and activism to apply for the 2024-2025 Publicly Active Graduate Education (PAGE) Fellowship. PAGE Fellows participate in a yearlong working group in support of collaborative art-making, teaching, writing, storytelling, and co-creating knowledge with and within community. We are artists, scientists, researchers, instigators, cultural leaders, care workers, and community activists. We are what Toni Cade Bambara called “culture workers,” people who are accountable to themselves, the land and water, the communities our work touches, and to creatively use our ability to freedom dream and do otherwise possibilities within and outside of our work.
