Affordable Housing and Sustainable Communities Program Webinar
The California Strategic Growth Council (SGC) and the Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) are reviewing applications from the most recent round of the Affordable Housing and Sustainable Communities (AHSC) Program. SGC will award approximately $550 million to AHSC applicants across the State in June. The next application period will open in early-November 2020 with awards being made in June 2021. In preparation, they are offering a series of webinars covering key AHSC topics to strengthen applications.
This virtual workshop will focus on designing projects that foster a holistic and targeted approach to community engagement. Topics covered include what intentional community engagement means in context of the AHSC Program and best practices and project examples that demonstrate meaningful impact.
