Call for Proposals

UC Davis has been invited to submit two nominees to the National Endowment for the Humanities 2024-2025 Summer Stipends competition. The NEH Summer Stipends program aims to stimulate new research in the humanities and its publications by supporting the work of individual scholars doing research or writing. Anyone can apply, as long as they are not a degree candidate at time of application. Junior faculty are particularly encouraged to apply. Graduate students are ineligible for this award.

Key Dates:

• Grant Webinar: May 17,  2:00-3:00 PM (Eastern time), To join the webinar, click on this link.  
• Internal (DHI) Application due: June 30, 2023
• NEH Applications (the campus nominees) due: September 20, 2023
• Expected notification date: April 15, 2024
• Project start date: May 1, 2024 - September 1, 2025
