The Sacramento Chapter of the United Nations Association of the United States (UNA-USA) invites climate experts to present on the current fight against climate change and the steps that NGOs, local and world governments have taken (or haven't) to address this climate disaster in the making. This event is free and open to the public. Solar-cooked desserts will be provided after the program. Music prodigy, Neil Nayyar, will perform, celebrating our collective efforts to combat climate change. Speakers include Mr. Troy Wolfe, Senior Director of Education Programs at the UN Foundation, Kate Wilkins, M.S., Member of the Board of Directors, 350 Sacramento, Dr. Glenn Jaecks, Professor of Geology from American River College and Dr. Catherine Brinkley, UC Davis Professor of Human Ecology, Community and Regional Development.

The Davis Chapter of the United Nations Association of the United States (UNA-USA) will celebrate United Nations Day with featured keynote speaker Troy Wolfe who will address this year’s theme of “Our Planet, Our Future.” Mr. Wolfe is Senior Director of Education Programs and Leaning at the United Nations Foundation. In addition to Mr. Wolfe, speakers for the day include climate change experts from Cool Davis.
