Her research interests include critical race theory, transnational migration and globalization, U.S. imperialism and militarism, citizenship, activism, gender and sexuality, youth studies, liberatory pedagogy, neoliberalization and internationalization of higher education, comparative ethnic studies, critical Korean studies.
