The UC Davis Humanities Institute is accepting applications for its Faculty Research Fellowships for 2022-2023. This fellowship is aimed at helping faculty in the humanities, arts, and qualitative social sciences make progress on a major research or creative project.

The purpose of the fellowship is to further the research or creative activity of the individual recipients and to enable faculty within the humanities, arts, and qualitative social sciences to meet and work with colleagues in other disciplines and departments. Projects need not be "interdisciplinary" by definition, and awards will be based on the scholarly/creative merit of the individual applications. The fellowship will award recipients with a single course release in spring 2023. The recipient’s departments will receive $6000.00 from the DHI towards the course release.
