Call for Fellows

Imagining America (IA) is excited to invite undergraduate students to participate in a yearlong learning exchange that includes tuition support, project support, and opportunities for professional development.

The IA/JGS Fellows Program provides an opportunity for undergraduate students who work with photography and/or digital media to participate in a year-long learning exchange that includes tuition support, community project support, and opportunities for professional development.

Program Outline

During the fellowship period, JGS Fellows will:

  • Receive a $2,000 tuition scholarship.
  • Receive mentorship and financial support for a community project.
  • Complimentary registration, lodging, and a travel award to attend the 2023 Imagining America National Gathering Oct. 20-22, 2023 in Providence, RI.
  • Access to regular, virtual learning exchanges throughout the year, as well as connections to the IA network of scholars, artists, and community organizers.
