Through our faculty fellowships, PSE is cultivating a culture of engagement that extends the impact of our work far beyond the university.
These programs help faculty tackle important questions like: How can we prepare students to engage responsibly with community partners? How can we build mutually beneficial relationships with these partners? And what are the challenges and benefits of engaging in public facing work?
The Public Scholar Faculty Fellowships, launched in 2020, provides concrete tools and opportunities for faculty who are navigating the unique challenges of public scholarship. The program embraces a broad and inclusive approach, recognizing that scholarship takes many forms across different disciplines and types of scholarly activity.
The Community Engaged Faculty Fellowships, offered from 2020–2022, supported faculty who want to bring real-world, community-focused issues into their classrooms.
