How to Add Programs/Opportunities

First Steps

Please visit our website to add a program/opportunity in the University of California Public Engagement database. Then enter your user credentials with your Kerberos ID and Kerberos passphrase. When you enter the page, you can then enter your program or opportunity through "Public Engagement Programs/Opportunities." 

If you need assistance entering or submitting to the database, please contact us at engaged@ucdavis.edu.

If you have previously submitted a program or opportunity, you may search for your name in the search box. If this is your first time entering a program or opportunity, please enter your name and email.

Type

Select the type that best fits your program or opportunity. If your program or opportunity fall under other types, please select all additional applicable types.

  • Course
  • Innovation (AB 2664)
  • Internship
  • Grant/Award
  • Partnership/Sponsorship
  • Program/Project

UC Department or School

Use the search to locate the department or school that the program/opportunity is affiliated with. If you cannot locate the department or school, mark the checkmark to indicate this and manually enter the name of the program/opportunity's department or school.

Title

Enter a title for the program/opportunity. You may enter the name of the program or opportunity. If applicable, include the website URL associated with the program/opportunity.

Dates

Please enter the duration of the program/opportunity. The start date is the annual date that the program/opportunity is available for interested individuals to join. If there is no set end date, please mark the last day as one year after the start date. Each year, the submitter will be asked to reverify that the information in the database is correct.

Enter the physical location where the program/opportunity will occur. You may either enter a valid address or the latitude and longitude coordinates.

Please enter the contact information for the program/opportunity. This information may be available to users to contact the listed person about the program/opportunity. Please enter a UC Davis email address.

Add to the Database

When you are done completing the fields, click on the button "Submit Program" to successfully add the program/opportunity to the Public Engagement Portal. If you are not yet done, you may save your form by clicking "Save Program."
